Apple iPhone 8 Event Now Expected to Be Held September 12

French website Mac4Ever is reporting that the Apple iPhone 8 event will be held on September 12, not September 5 as some websites have previously speculated. While citing mobile operators as its source, Mac4Ever acknowledges that Apple itself has not confirmed the date. Although, it is widely expected that Apple will send out press invitations in the next week.

In addition to announcing two or maybe three new iPhones, Apple is expected to announce a new Apple Watch with an LTE chip called the Apple Watch Series 3. But while the iPhone's are expected to be released within a couple of weeks of the iPhone announcement, the new Apple Watch many not be available until late 2017 or even early 2018.
