How to Drag & Drop the Cursor While Editing Text on Your iPhone

One of my favorites is the ability to drag and drop the cursor while typing in native Apple apps like Mail and Messages. Now it's faster and easier than ever to edit text on your iPhone! Let's get started learning how to use this text-editing feature.

How to Drag & Drop the Cursor to  Edit Text on Your iPhone

  1. Place your finger on the cursor. The cursor will enlarge.
  2. Drag the cursor to where you need it to be and lift your finger to drop it. 
  3. Now you can delete, replace, or add additional text as needed.

As with previous operating systems, it's still also possible to tap a place in the message to move the cursor to that point.
